A Day Out in Parsons Green

1. Naive Coffee

If you’re looking for that early morning wake-me-up, Naïve coffee is an excellent place to stop by as you arrive at Parsons Green tube station. Priding themselves on ethically sourced coffee, their menu ranges from classic brews to more unique creations, such as sticky chai’s and honey lattes. Don’t forget to check out their freshly baked pastries (especially the almond croissants) for your breakfast.

2. Pottery Café

A brilliant way to spend a few relaxing hours, the Pottery Café is a lovely and bright studio space, offering painting of pottery pieces alongside a café serving hot drinks and baked goods. Choose from a wide selection of pottery such as mugs, plates, or even candle holders, roll your sleeves up, and get to painting! Don’t worry if you lack creative talent- they have plenty of stencils and sponges for even the most basic of artists.

3. Bayley & Sage

With fresh groceries, a walk-in cheese and charcuterie room, and a secret flower store around the back- Bayley & Sage is the local grocery store every neighbourhood in London needs. From excellent seasonal produce to a brilliant café (try their mochas!) serving fresh food daily, they’ve also recently expanded to include a home section with their Bayley & Sage Abode store two doors down, filled with beautiful pieces for your home.

4. Emilia’s Delicatessen

With fresh food cooked daily using authentic Italian ingredients, there’s always a long lunch-time queue outside Emilia’s Deli. From classics such as lasagne or ricotta filled ravioli in a creamy mushroom sauce, to more traditional snacks such as fried fish croquettes, you’ll always be greeted with a smile from their friendly Italian owners. The deli also stocks an amazing range of pantry ingredients from Italy, such as squid ink pasta, and has an excellent charcuterie selection- also, don’t forget to try their pistachio cannoli as a sweet afternoon treat.

5.The White Horse

A historical Victorian gastropub with beautiful mahogany oak interiors and many global beers on tap, the White Horse is a definite favourite for both locals and office-goers alike. They pride themselves on a delicious and ever-changing seasonal food menu, all of which incorporate classic British dishes with inventive twists. As the weather is slowly edging towards spring, their outdoor seating area is also covered and heated- a definite bonus as you enjoy your cold, crisp pint!
