1. Arcade Food Hall Battersea
Brand new openings in Battersea seem to be as regular as brushing your teeth at the moment (and we certainly aren’t complaining about it). This one may be their biggest yet as the all-new Arcade Food Hall takes its rightful place at the centre of the iconic power station. The team have set up a beautiful space fit for 500 dinner guests with two bars, an intimate private dining room, and even a dancefloor thrown in for good measure. Now, the moment we’ve all been waiting for… food. Expect to be utterly spoiled for choice with thirteen food stalls cooking up the best of cuisines from all over the world including Cantonese roasted meats, delectable sushi bites, and some top-class Italian gelato. They’ve even made space for some stand-alone restaurants from the likes of BAO, Manna, and Solis.
Open Wednesday 26th July 2023
Location: 1st Floor, Boiler House, Battersea Power Station, 330 The Power Station, Circus Road South, London SW11 8DD
2. 64 Old Compton Street
Loved by Soho foodies for over a decade, 40 Dean Street gained a sister site this month. Carrying on the trend of affordable yet delicious food and named after its location (do we detect a pattern here?), 64 Old Compton Street are plating up some hearty, traditional Italian dishes in a relaxing setting at the heart of London’s ever-buzzing ‘gay village’. Fans of the carb will be delighted to know that their pasta and stone-baked pizzas are freshly made every day and put together with some irresistible ingredients to make menu items such as linguine with tiger prawns, pizza nduja, and chicken milanese. If you aren’t already dribbling, be sure to check out their dessert menu with options including pistachio tiramisu and vanilla affogato which we don’t think you’re going to want to share.
Open Monday 3rd July 2023
Location: 64 Old Compton Street, London W1D 4UQ
3. Slammers Bar
Allow us to introduce you to the city’s newest immersive drinking experience, the creepy prison-themed Slammers, which has conveniently just opened its doors underneath London Bridge. However, be warned, you may have to fight your way through some razor sharp barbed wire, ultra-sensitive prison cameras, and intimidating patrolling guards to reach the bar… but it’ll be worth it, we promise. As you can expect from a bar behind bars, upon entry you’ll be locked away in a cell and given the opportunity to make one call only… but luckily for you, the prison telephones will direct your calls to the talented mixologists behind the security-screened bar who are ready to take your order. Of course, their premium selection of cocktails are all prison themed with highlights including ‘Lights Out’, ‘Jail Bird’, and ‘The Slammer’ and you will also have the opportunity to tuck into some moreish charcuterie bites and loaded fries. The venue gets the good vibes flowing with some funky tunes and themed disco balls, but just beware of the electric chair - ‘Old Smokey’ is not your friend.
Open Thursday 6th July 2023
Location: 3 Tooley Street, London SE1 2PR
4. 400 Rabbits Battersea Rise
Yep, it’s another Battersea opening, we told you it’s popping out there. With five restaurants already thriving in the city, 400 Rabbits are quite literally breeding like… well, you know what. Offering their speciality, three-day fermented sourdough pizzas (with vegan options also on the cards), seasonal gelato and sorbet flavours, as well as a wide selection of refreshing beverages; this new eatery is bound to be a hit with Battersea locals and visitors alike with an intimate dining space and an outdoor terrace for basking in the sun with a cocktail in one hand and a pizza slice in the other (as God intended). To get a little more bang for your buck, plan your visit for their Tenner Tuesday’s offer and daily ‘hoppy hour’ where you can get yourself a craft beer, house wine, or a cocktail for just five Great British pounds - incredible!
Open Friday 28th July 2023
Psst, pop down for their opening weekend and treat yourself to 50% off of their pizzas - thank us later!
Location: 4, 6a Battersea Rise, London SW11 1ED
5. CHŪŌ Sushi
If you thought conveyor belt sushi was the best thing since sliced bread, you’re going to love monorail sushi. Shoreditch has a new restaurant in town and it’s going to make history as Europe’s first ever tech-lead monorail sushi experience. When on Paul Street, check out CHŪŌ and expect to find a menu packed with 40 different types of sushi and izakaya-esque dishes ready for the taking on cute little model trains. Dine counter-style at this modern eatery, cosy up in an intimate booth, or simply grab one of their lunch boxes for an on-the-go treat that is sure to please.
Open 25th July 2023
Location: 20 Paul Street, London EC2A 4JH

Pre-booking is open now so get on it if you want to be one of the first to get your putt on.
