1. Shakespeare’s Globe

Catch a play for £5...

Delve into an authentic Shakespearian play at The Globe for just £5 - as long as you’re happy to stand (we promise you’ll get the best view in the house). The Bard’s dreamiest, brawliest, and goriest moments were designed to drive the audience wild, and 2023 is no exception. Experience the whimsical A Midsummer's Night Dream or charming As You Like It underneath the open sky and watch the drama unfold a mere arms-length from the stage. Just remember to pack a waterproof jacket in case the heavens decide to open up, this is Britain after all.

2. Rowans Tenpin Bowl

Take part in a retro game of bowling…

Rowans Bowling has become a staple in North London’s entertainment scene since switching on its iconic neon sign in 1988, with an impressive 24 lanes to get your game on. For many London locals, it’s a nostalgic experience packed out with a retro arcade, 80’s karaoke, and classic pool tables. But it’s also popular with the next gen too, with DJ sessions on weekends for a boogie, affordable pitchers of beer and big screens for live sport events. Better yet, each game costs a cheap and cheerful £9 - during peak times, no less - so we recommend booking in advance to avoid missing out.
