The city’s ice rinks are back and better than ever just in time for the festivities. From serene historic locations to buzzy rooftop settings, London is ready for you to dig out those skates and hit the ice in one of these beautiful wintery spots.

Hitting the top spot as a must visit this year is London’s brand new ice rink, Glide. From the same people that brought the Natural History Museum ice rink to South Kensington, Glide opened its doors for the very first time on the 11th of November as the most spectacular open-air ice rink. With a unique shape of three interconnecting rinks centred by a brilliantly lit 30ft Christmas tree - not to mention its backdrop is one of the most iconic buildings in the city - it’s the perfect location for any skater, no matter how experienced.
