1. Wide Awake
Taking over Brockwell Park this May, Wide Awake will be holding an extravaganza on the 27th, celebrating independent music and counterculture in the spirit of discovering something new that gets your head bopping. With a wide variety of genres from leftfield indie to electronica, acts like headliner Caroline Polcheck, Ty Segal, Shygirl, and many more will be taking to the stage. To show that festivals can be environmentally conscious, Wide Awake have adopted a Positive Policy to reduce air pollution, vowing to use sustainable and locally sourced materials with the aim of using less travel miles. 2. Community Festival
If you’re a diehard fan of indie rock, you may want to follow the Community Festival to Crystal Palace Park this summer. Since the festival emerged in 2015, it has impressed the public by bringing The Kooks, You Me At Six, and The Amazons to its stages. This year will be no different, as the headliners will be none other than indie legends Two Door Cinema Club and The Wombats, with a special performance from The Vaccines. You’ll be wanting to come back, and it’s alright, it’s alright... Tickets are already on sale so snap them up quickly, or even treat yourself to a VIP package which will grant you access to the exclusive chill out area, luxury restrooms, and cloakroom facilities.

3. Elrow Town
Prepare yourself for the return of the most colourful festival in the UK, that’s right, Elrow is back in town and they say it’s going to be their biggest party yet. Standing out from the crowd as bright as can be, this immersive kaleidoscopic music event will be bringing an abundance of talented DJs, acrobatic performers, crazy games, and explosive confetti cannons. On the decks will be the likes of Patrick Topping, Armand Van Helden, DJ Yoda, and Arielle Free as the headlining act. Parsloes Park will be getting this vibrant makeover in July complete with nine magical stages, creative collectives, and the ultimate fiesta vibe. Tickets are selling like hotcakes so you’ll need to hurry if you want in. A limited number of general admission and standing VIP passes remain with payment plans available.

4. Mighty Hoopla
Step into two days of all things pop music, fun, and fashion with Mighty Hoopla festival. Taking place at the city’s favourite festival destination, Brockwell Park will be the setting for the UK’s most fabulous music extravaganza. Each year, this LGBTQ+ event sees a crowd of 25,000 getting together to relax in the sun, express themselves to the fullest, and dance the night away to the best of pop, alternative, and queer culture. Their seven stages will showcase pop icons such as Kelly Rowland, Aqua, Kelis, and Natasha Bedingfield; and in case that wasn’t enough to rope you in, Mighty Hoopla will be the host of club nights, cabaret collectives, and an array of unique live performances including comedy acts, secret discos, and mass karaoke. Full weekend tickets and Sunday day passes are still available to purchase, as well as their VIP Bolt-On which will grant you access to exclusive DJ sets, luxury loos, and bespoke cocktail bars.

5. Festival People
Show your warmest welcome to the newest event on London’s festival circuit, Festival People. Exploding onto the green of Barking Park this June, the event will be mixing together the best up and coming talent and artists on top of their game in a variety of genres including drum and bass, disco, and house. Keep an eye out for Kurupt FM and Bugzy Malone headlining the show, as well as many other exciting live performers across their four stages. Standing out from the crowd, Festival People have adopted gamification as an integral part of their event. Attendees will have the opportunity to play around with new technology via social media, exploring interactive games with the aim of elevating the festival experience like never before. Second release tickets are up for grabs with a special deal on group tickets and payment plans available.
