Discover London: The Ultimate Guide to Spending a Day Out in Soho

Right at the heart of London lies Soho, a must-see spot known for its lively nightlife scene, trendy hang-out spots, and rich cultural history. What was once King Henry VIII’s hunting ground has gradually transformed into one of the city’s most popular entertainment districts, offering buzzworthy cafés, restaurants, swanky bars, boutique shops, theatres, and music venues in abundance. Since the amazing locations on offer feel endless, we’ve done all the hard work and whipped up the best spots for you - so you don’t need to!

Start your day off strong (and by that, we mean with a cup of coffee) at My Place Soho. Known for its all-day dining menu and delicious coffee brews, this is the ideal eatery for a scrumptious morning meal, offering all of the classic breakfast dishes like a full English and light and fluffy American pancakes. Looking for something a little bit different? We recommend their mouth-watering kimchi toast or Turkish eggs served with sourdough bread, tzatziki, and chilli oil. While you tuck in, be sure to look up at the walls to admire the artwork made by locals and bask in the lively, community atmosphere - Soho charm in a nutshell.

Once you’ve finished browsing MinaLima, continue your journey to Algerian Coffee Stores which can be identified by its bright red shop front. This very spot dates back to 1887 when an Algerian gentleman began trading single origin coffees of the highest quality. Today, the century-old shop is stocked with exclusive house blends, limited-edition coffees, and specialty teas that you’ve got to try at least once in your lifetime. Once you’ve grabbed yourself something special from the friendly staff, don’t forget to look at the old signs and photos hanging around the store; another sign of the store’s historic past.
