Calling all Wes Anderson enthusiasts! To celebrate his latest movie ‘Asteroid City’, 180 Studios have curated a pop up exhibition featuring original sets, props and costumes - not to mention that iconic window scene. If that isn’t enough, they’ve also recreated the 1950s diner, where you can order sophisticated martini’s and the classic American hotdog - Johansson style. Make sure to check it out before the exhibit closes on 30th July - and prepare for some interactive gems on route, too…

2. Little Venice

Not to be mistaken for the quaint Italian city of Venice, Little Venice has a charm like no other. Situated north of Paddington, this tranquil pocket of London is home to a series of picturesque canals and narrowboat cruises that travel between Little Venice and Camden Lock. Aside from offering gorgeous views of the local’s houseboats (who sometimes serve home-brewed drinks), it also happens to be the perfect spot for a peaceful walk in Rembrandt Gardens, a touch of live entertainment at the Canal Cafe Theatre, or scrumptious seafood at The Summerhouse. But whatever your scene, a slice of paradise at each twist and turn is guaranteed.

3. Illusionaries: Memories of a Dead Poet

Canary Wharf’s latest immersive experience has hit the town, and we’re ready for some out of this world transportation. Illusionaries: Memories of a Dead Poet is tickling the senses with a blend of light, sound and motion - and as the name suggests, reflects on the works and poetic memories of a departed bard. For 40 minutes, explore the mind and soul through a digital lens, and embark on a multi-sensory journey that blurs the boundaries between illusion and reality - which we think is pretty poetic in itself.

FYI: the event will run until 24th September 2023, so book your ticket pronto.

4. Pub Quiz at The Lock Tavern

Perched on the corner of Chalk Farm Road, The Lock Tavern is the prime place to bring together a few friends, settle in and get quizzical with their thought-provoking trivia on Tuesday evenings. Test each other's knowledge, debate over a pint of delicious craft beer and play to win, because as the saying goes teamwork makes the dreamwork - or at least scores that £50 bar tab prize. Rounds on you!

FYI: Outside you’ll find a characterful outdoor patio, where you can enjoy alfresco pizza and an extensive selection of drinks - marking itself as a firm favourite with the London locals.

5. Dino Snores

The Natural History Museum has dropped their latest venture ‘Dino Snores’ which means you’ll get to experience a ‘Night at the London Museum’ - aka - sleep underneath the iconic blue whale in the Hintze Hall. Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson are excluded unfortunately, but the free access to selected galleries, live animal workshop with ZooLab, and monster movie marathon makes up for the lack of stardom. Oh and did we mention it’s for adults (channelling their inner child) only? Grab a space whilst they’re hot, because the next available dates are in January 2024.
